South Texas is a region of the U.S. state of Texas that lies roughly south of, or beginning at, San Antonio. The southern and western boundary is the Rio Grande River, and to the east it is the Gulf of Mexico. The population of this region is about 3.7 million. The southern portion of this region is often referred to as the Rio Grande Valley. The eastern portion along the Gulf of Mexico is also referred to as the Coastal Bend. BoundariesThere is no defined northern boundary, although it is believed to be at the city of San Antonio and from an east to west line extending from the Rio Grande near Maverick County to the Gulf of Mexico, but turning southeast at or near Lavaca County, and continuing towards the Gulf of Mexico to separate it from East Texas and Southeast Texas. The Rio Grande serves as the western and southern boundaries and separates Texas from Mexico. The eastern portion of South Texas is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico. From Wikipedia under the

I plan on attending Hofstra University. But I live deep south Texas...think Brownsville, TX. I plan on living on campus. Would I have to take the journey by car? (It'd be very very long. Lol.) Any tips? And what if I want to eventually move more things later since not many stuff would fit in my little car. Asked by bee loving. - Wed Oct 15 02:08:21 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. You could probably take a bus or train...but you wouldn't be able to bring much. And a plane would be even worse with baggage costs. Bring lots of warm clothes. As far as needing the car after getting to campus, I seriously doubt it...there's tons of mass-transit up here, you could get just about anywhere you want within a 100+ mile radius by bus, subway or train. Answered by gbreadmann - Wed Oct 15 02:40:09 2008 I live in south Texas and would like to have a pet rabbit, but I have some questions first!? Q. I plan on building a large hut for the bunny in the shade outside in my back yard, Can the bunny live outside in the summer if it has an adequate hutch and plenty of shade? I plan on moving the bunny inside for the winter, but South Texas summers are pretty warm... I was hoping someone from a warmer place has some experience with bunnies could give me some advice? Asked by scarlettstunner - Fri Mar 27 17:21:52 2009 - - 8 Answers - 0 Comments A. Not in Texas, sorry. Rabbits are heat stressed above 85 F. They actually cope better with cold temperatures than hot. Keep it indoors all the time. Answered by oregano13 - Fri Mar 27 17:38:04 2009 How long does it take a plane ride from Texas to South Korea?
