I'm looking for a Messianic Jewish Congregation in the Snyder Texas area. Does anyone know of one?
Q. My apologies to all people who consider themselves "real Jews". My intent was not to offend anyone...just to find an answer to my question. I have a love for all of God's people - especially those who were His first..the Jewish people. I just happen to believe in Jesus as the Messiah.

A. If you want to know about Jewish traditions, prayers, etc., you are very welcome to attend any synagogue. Introduce yourself to others and ask questions! If you're really not interested in Judaism, then attend any Church and worship Jesus with your friends and neighbors. .

Am looking for information on the Fred and Caroline Wilkinson that had 13 children that lived in Snyder Texas?
Q. Fred and Caroline came from Germany

A. Wilkinson...that's one of my family's names. my grandmama was a Wilkinson, and I'm part German thanks to my grandmama, so in that rate, you might be related to me! HA!!! I'd ask my aunt who does family genology, but I don't want to call her at 11 pm. Um, if you want to, you could probably go a family tree site and pay a few bucks to get the information you want...but I guess it kinda depends on if this is the information you actually ARE looking for. Keep me posted, I'd like to know too. good luck...let me know how it turns out. Are you part of the Wilkinson family?

Why aren't oil companies investing more of their massive profits in safety training for their employees?
Q. And why isn't the government, while it's so busy clamoring for "more drilling," punishing companies for safety violations that are getting increasing numbers of workers killed? "SNYDER, Texas - Less than two months into the job in the oilfields of West Texas, Brandon Garrett was sliced in half by a motorized spool of steel cable as he and other roughnecks struggled to get a drilling rig up and running. advertisement garrett's grisly end illustrates yet another soaring cost of America's unquenchable thirst for energy: Deaths among those working the nation's oil and gas fields have risen at an alarming rate, The Associated Press has found" ( ). Sorry. There's no "advertisement." LOL.

A. The oil companies have the government in their pockets so they don't have to pay attention to silly safety laws. Besides safety training would cut into their equally massive pay packets for their CEOs and senior management.

Did you know this about your electricity company?
Q. I would just like to let anyone know that if you are currently under the stream energy electric and gas company the customer care center located in Dallas, Texas is relocating to Mexico. A company that main point is that it is Texas owned is now relocating it call center to Mexico From the mouth of the very owner Rob Snyder said it was a expansion journey. But this is something that has not been shared with Ignite representatives that sell the product. More information next time

Ron Paul supporters... did you know this? Time to write FOX news.?
Q. ARLINGTON, virginia according to the New Hampshire State Republican Party and an Associated Press report, Republican presidential candidate and Texas Congressman Ron Paul will be excluded from an upcoming forum of Republican candidates to be broadcast by Fox News on January 6, 2008. Given Ron Paul s support in New Hampshire and his recent historic fundraising success, it is outrageous that Dr. Paul would be excluded, said Ron Paul 2008 campaign chairman Kent Snyder. Dr. Paul has consistently polled higher in New Hampshire than some of the other candidates who have been invited. Snyder continued, Paul supporters should know that we are continuing to make inquiries with Fox News as to why they have apparently excluded Dr. Paul… [cont.]

A. Wonder if the blowback from this will be more media time? Ron Paul getting interviews on other networks due to FOX's audacity? I hope so, there is a silver lining in almost everything. Keep your chin up, FOX is outing themselves for who they really are (gatekeepers), and cannot gauge his support because it's so different. I watched a documentary called "Spin" by Brian Springer, and the networks did this to another candidate as he started polling higher in the early primary states. There was no internet at the time, so nothing could be done. EDIT: I think it was caused by a devious blog, with which the AP ran the news report with. The full story is here.

Top 5 College Football Sleeper Teams and why?
Q. hears mine: 1. Arkansas, Sophmore QB Ryan Mallet is a great gun slinging QB that now has tall and fast WR's to throw to with a great RB (Micheal Smith to take the load of him) and a steady offense and the 23rd best pass defense. Looking at their schedule despite a tough one they go 8-4 with losses to Georgia, LSU, Florida, and Ole Miss. (upset Alabama) 2. Wisconsin Badgers, with a speedy playmaking John Clay at RB and a handful of intriguing WR's I say the Badgers go 11-1 with an easy schedule and 1 loss to Ohio State. Their only downside is inconsistant play at the QB position. 3. Central Michigan Chippewas, Senior QB Dan LeFevour leads a team 12th in the nation in passing and wins games not only with his arm but with his legs. They… [cont.]

A. 1. Penn State. I know, this team went 11-1 in the regular season last year and was 2 points away from the BCS Title game. But Ohio State is still the favorite to win the Big 10. I think Penn State will beat Ohio State, and go undefeated and earn a berth in the BCS Championship (OU beats Texas, OSU beats OU). 2. Georgia Tech. I think this team also has a great shot to go undefeated. They have the firepower to beat Virginia Tech, and if they can beat the Hokies, they should roll through the ACC, 3. Troy Trojans. Two upsets over Florida and Arkansas and rolling through a weak Sun Belt will be enough to send a SBC team to the Sugar Bowl or Fiesta Bowl. I doubt they'll beat Florida, but they've given good teams hell for a long time (31-3 at… [cont.]
